Atten-hut! We’re heading to Boot Camp for this Camo Army Birthday Party from Dawn at Smart Parties in Calgary, Canada.
Dawn held Basic Training for Kaden’s 10th birthday. The Charest Army Barracks came to life with a little help from my Army Printable Collection – and a whole lot of Dawn’s creativity.
The netting & Army green backdrop for the “Mess Hall” is perfect for this boys own Army party.
And check out the ceiling decoration too!
I love this dynamite Watermelon – it’s such a fun Army themed idea that boys would love – and it’s cheap to make too! All you need is a watermelon, some wires and an old digital watch (with the straps cut off)!
Lots of Army themed food – Deadly Bullets, Canon balls ….
…beef jerky (of course) and some Army Rations kept the boys strength up during their Training.
All recruits checked in at the Enlistment Office on arrival.
They were checked off the list and issued their Army kit.
Camo uniforms, helmets and water bottles.
And of course some camo face paint! There was even pretty scary looking Drill Seargeant to get the soldiers into shape!
After the recruits completed a series of physical training activities they were given their Certificate of Completion of Basic Training.
And were dismissed from Boot Camp with Basic Training Rations as their party favors.
You can find all the Army printables used by Dawn here in my shop.
See lots more images of this party – and lots of the actual physical training activities too – on the Smart Parties website or Facebook page. If you are in the Calgary region, stop by the site to see if she can help with your next birthday party or event too.
Look out for Dawn’s next party coming soon!
